Responsive Business Website Rebuild

The brief

An existing business website that looked dated, loaded slowly on mobile, and made it genuinely difficult for visitors to find a phone number or contact form. The goal was a full rebuild: modern, fast, and built around getting a visitor to take action.

What we built

  Mobile-first responsive layout - designed for the phone screen first, then scaled up, rather than the more common (and worse-performing) approach of designing for desktop and hoping mobile works out.

  Restructured information architecture - a clear sitemap built around how customers actually search and browse, not how the business is internally organized.

  Performance-first build - compressed, modern image formats, minimal render-blocking scripts, and a clean tech stack (PHP, MySQL, a lightweight modern front end) chosen for speed over unnecessary complexity.

  A visible, repeated call-to-action - every page makes it obvious what to do next, instead of leaving visitors to hunt for a contact method.

The technical approach

We prioritized a stack that stays fast without needing a large hosting budget - server-rendered PHP with a modern build pipeline for CSS/JS, rather than a heavier JavaScript framework that would add load time for little practical benefit on a business site like this one.

The takeaway

A website rebuild is not really about the redesign - it's about removing friction between a visitor arriving and that visitor being able to act. Every decision in this rebuild, from layout to tech stack, was made with that single goal in mind.
